NYC based drummer, Zach Adleman, has been playing drums since he was 6 years. He has performed at venues and events, such as Carnegie Hall, the 57th Annual Grammy Awards After Parties, and the Newport Jazz Festival alongside jazz luminaries such as Wynton Marsalis, Rodney Whitaker, Mike LeDonne, Elio Villafranca, and Randy Brecker. Additionally, he holds a GRAMMY for his percussion performance on Ted Nash's album, the Presidential Suite, on the song Water in Cupped Hands. On his fantastic new album for Cellar Music called 'WE MAKE: Stories For A New Day', Adleman calls for people to collaborate with each other, despite their differences, and imagine a new, brighter, better future. The album features various vignettes into Adleman's past as well as societal events, as a way to share important stories. Each song on the album represents a different story, that when woven together, allows the listener to have a holistic understanding of his thinking and ideally a life lesson or two that can improve their lives. He is joined on this recording by Sarah Hanahan and Steve Wilson on alto, Austin Ford on trumpet, Steve Davis on trombone, Luther Allison on piano, and Jared Beckstead-Craan on bass.
