Design inspired by cherry blossom trees along the river
This piece is designed with the cherry blossom trees along the Saigawa River, which flows through the center of Kanazawa City, in mind.
The flowing river is represented by the gradually continuing knit pattern in the center of the body, and the blooming cherry blossoms and falling petals are expressed by the various sized patterns placed diagonally on the sides of the body.
The piece uses a technique called plating knit, which knits with different yarns on the front and back.
By effectively bringing out the differently colored back yarn, the fabric has a three-dimensional feel with a sense of shadow.
The cuffs feature the YASHIKI icon, the Yagasuri pattern (arrow feather pattern).

Smooth and elegant fabric
The fabric used in this piece is knitted with a 12-gauge knitting machine using four strands of 40-count two-ply yarn. Normally, a 12-gauge knitting machine would use two strands of yarn, but this fabric uses twice as much yarn. As a result, the fabric has a higher density and is not flimsy, but rather tightly packed.

Silhouette inspired by kimono
This is a standard YASHIKI design that pays homage to the kimono, characterized by the way the shoulders fall when worn, creating a soft impression.
The relaxed fit allows it to be worn by those with a more muscular build, and it also creates an attractive silhouette when worn oversized by petite women. The size chart indicates a relaxed fit.
