Vintage Christmas Elf knee hugging pixie has a remarkable face with a Goofy Smile that is just precious!.
The name "knee hugger" comes from the elf's posable nature, allowing its arms to wrap around its knees, as if hugging them. He can also be used as a shelf sitter and a tree ornament.
The elf features a plastic head with a red felt body and hat, green gloves and distinctive gold tinsel bow tie. . Manufactured in Japan during the 1950s and 1960s. See pictures for measurements.
These little guys are a very popular vintage holiday collectible, these day, this piece came from a recent estate sale.
