Daggits are canine-like animals used as domestic pets. It is said that no Daggits survived the Cylon war, so robotic versions were created by scientists. In the series, Boxey loses his Daggit, Muffit, so a robotic version was built. Daggit was actually released in two different colors, brown and tan, with both having about the same value.
