This has developed a natural patina (tarnish/patina) which is common for such vintage pieces. I have tried to clean some of it up but it needs more work if you like. This features a detailed sculpted animal with a U-shaped style knocker piece
It is designed to be used as functional front door accessory or sometimes aa a decorative interior piece
The third picture shows the holes in the eyes, this is where you put the screws in to attach to the door (the screws are not included) I'm afraid they are long gone, but can be purchased at your local hardware store
This weighs 1 lb 12 oz it is about 9" from tip of ear to bottom of knocker & 5" across
The knocker is very fluent & easy to move
