Vintage Noritake Nippon Covered Casserole 1940

Vintage Noritake Nippon Covered Casserole . Just lovely, this pattern features delicate bouquets of yellow roses and various blue, orange, white & yellow flowers against a pale yellow background. Plumes of tan and green leaves fill in the background of each bouquet. The inner circle is white. The rim has a very pretty blue and gold slanted line pattern with intermittent tiny gold fan scrolls against a black background. The very edge of the rim is trimmed in gold. The handles are stout and delicately designed with heavy gold trim accenting their lines. The finial on the cover is much like a white bud with gold tipped leaves. The cover is also embellished with embossed leaves surrounding the bud.
