Traveling Man Treasures recently traveled to South Korea and acquired this amazing 24" statue of the "three wise monkeys" based upon a Japanese pictorial maxim that embodies the principle "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil."
The three monkeys are Mizaru (covering his eyes), Kikazaru (covering his ears), and Iwazaru (covering his mouth). The monkeys are often used to represent a lack of moral responsibility or willful ignorance.
