Vintage 1960s Reuge Floral Inlay Wooden Music Box Made in Italy. Swiss Movement Music Player plays Love Story. Blue suede velvet liner. Original foil stickers and winding knob. Furniture Quality High Polish. 5.75” square Music plays very well. This beautiful well made highly polished vintage box has age appropriate wear with light scratching on lacquer surface finish. In addition, ( see photos).). The plush Blue side velvet liner fabric is in very good clean condition. I believe this box was laminated with cherry wood. ( not sure I am not a wood person) but box has a very deep rich red to reddish brown color that catches light very well to see different wood grains within it. Very beautiful shiny finish, The floral inlay top stands out against the darker wood. Really pretty box with or without music.
