Vintage Grolla Friendship Cup

This is a vi gave hand carved Grolla. The Grolla is a traditional wooden cup originating from the Aosta Valley in Italy and the Savoy region of France. It is often referred to as a 'friendship cup' or 'amity cup' because it is designed for sharing, with multiple spouts allowing several people to drink from it simultaneously. Historically, it was used to share hot coffee mixed with grappa, Génépy, or other spirits, particularly during festive occasions. The carving on the lid often represents regional motifs, such as flowers or geometric patterns, making each Grolla a unique piece of folk art.
