vintage Everett Needlepoint striped beret Hat

This cool old beret by Everett Needlepoint is probably from the 1930's. The label has Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. under the name suggesting it's quite early. No size or fabric content tag but most likely wool and does not stretch. I believe it's called rope needlepoint. Stripes of cream, beige, black and red with a twisted rope fabric button at the top. Small size. It measures 20" around the inside hem. There is one small spot of surface damage on the cream stripe you can see up close and at a distance in the last 2 photos. For it's ace it's in very good condition. Smoke free home. I ship same or next business day.
