Here is a vintage Cooper Monobilt flip-top safety razor. You turn the knob at the base of the handle to release the top, which can then be flipped open. The razor measures about 3.25 inches long.
This has some scratches on the head and a little very mild tarnish. The head does not spring open on its own when you turn the knob; you have to raise it yourself. I know some of them do spring open; I don't know if this one is supposed to. Also, the head is a little bit curved (you can see this in the pictures). I don't see how this can be damage, but it seems a little odd, so I'm pointing it out. A couple of the comb teeth are not precisely straight.
