With Caroline Stegenius' soft, cool voice and Martin Edin's innovative piano, they present a selection of standards from the jazz and pop scene. Caroline Stegenius has a lively communication capability that captures and touches audiences. Her nuanced voice and her ability to let the texts speak comes into it's own in the duo's defenseless arrangements. Caroline also writes her own compositions nourished by Swedish folk music and jazz. Martin Edin is a pianist and music researcher. He is a PhD student at Musikhögskolan i Örebro, with research aimed at piano improvisation in the 19th century. He also teaches conducting at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm.
