This is a vintage Tom Philabaum art glass paperweight from his "Reptilian Series".
The paperweight features a blue and white "reptile skin" or "sea urchin" pattern.
Tom Philabaum is an award-winning glass artist who founded Tucson's first glassblowing studio in 1975 and developed the "Reptilian Series" in the mid-1980s. Signed and dated 1991. Philabaum retired from glassblowing in 2018. Paperweight measures about 3 " dia and 3 1/2" tall. No chips or cracks, a couple of surface dings that are impossible to photograph due to paperweight pattern.
