This TIME magazine has been preserved in a box away from the elements presumably since it’s issuance. (If I’m using that word correctly ha)
It was with dozens of others and the owner never cracked them. This issue of TIME was covering the scandalous affair that President Clinton was involved in during his presidency. The Starr report was a book published by Kenneth W. Starr as he shared his findings of the controversial affair. This TIME issue covers the book and what it meant to the administration, congress and the American people. Would serve as a great film prop or even a readable-time capsule portraying just how overtaken the public was with this scandal in the 90’s. We had no idea just how much more messy a POTUS could be lol. The issue also features an article on Mark McGwire who was in a historic home run race with Sammy Sosa to which he ultimately won. So a little something in there for everyone: Namely you!
