Following the sell-out release of the This Mortal Coil box set in 2011, 4AD are replacing all existing CD versions of the albums with the re-mastered editions of the albums. Manufactured in Japan, each album is packaged in a vinyl replica, heavy board gatefold sleeve with a printed inner sleeve and booklet. Additionally, the HDCDs are in protective plastic bags and the package has a protective cellophane re-sealable bag plus obi strip for technical information. These Japanese editions are manufactured to high specifications and are treasured among collectors for their aesthetic appeal.
