Fabulous piece of tatting, probably made to go around a piece of fabric for a dresser scarf ... but who uses those anymore. OK, yes we do under lamps and figurines. But I imagine this being used as a mat around a vintage photo of ancestors.
The tatting is done with an ecru thread, and also a pale pink thread, an interesting and pleasing combination. I see no flaws.
Outside dimensions 15” x 18”, inside 10½” x 8¼”. Good vintage condition.
