Upper Leather (Copper Rough & Tough)
The oil-tanned leather has developed a deep, darkened patina with warm reddish-brown undertonestypical of the Copper Rough & Tough hide as it ages.
Toe boxes show moderate creasing and natural flex lines, adding to the classic Iron Ranger character. No deep cracks or cuts; surface marks only.
Vamp and quarter panels display mild surface scuffs and tonal variation from normal wear, giving them a distressed yet clean appearance.
Cap-toe stitching remains tight and uniform, with no loose threads or blown seams.
Eyelets and speed hooks retain full finish and are securely fastened; minimal oxidation or discoloration.
Tongues are intact and structurally firm. The woven Red Wing Shoes® fabric tags inside are worn but fully legible (model 8085 visible).
Heel counters and backstays show soft wrinkling but maintain shape and support.
