Antique, silver heart locket most likely from the Victorian era. I believe it was used to hold perfumed pieces of cloth. Stamped Sterling on the bottom section, inner edge where it meets the top. The chain is also sterling silver and the link attaching to clasp is stamped Italy 925.. I tried to get photos of the markings. Maker of locket is unknown. Chain is 24". No repairs to this pieces. Opens and closes easily. I am not a jeweler but I did weigh it on a scale in ounces and grams. See photos.
