Salvatore Ferragamo silk scarf 85 cm. In the 1970s, Fulvia Ferragamo (Salvatore's daughter) was the brand's artistic director. It was during this time that the extremely colorful and ornamental aesthetic for which Ferragamo silk scarves are now recognized was developed. In the 1970s and 1980s, she particularly made a name for herself with scarves and ties inspired by exotic flora and fauna. Wild animals blend with lush flora to create tigers and lions whose bodies are made of geometrically shaped flowers: nature seems to come to life on these silk prints, so bright are their colors and captivating patterns.
