| This unit is Made In USA - Manufactured in Texas Replacement Hydraulic Ram for Megatower Series Light Plants The LM-50-5S-TLR-SP5536 replacement hydraulic ram is an actuator for providing hydraulic power into mechanical motion, lifting the mast into the upright position on the Larson Electronics Megatower series light plants. It is a double-acting cylinder with two NPTF hydraulic ports for both extension and retraction of the rod. The cylinder has crosstube end fittings with grease zerks for mounting to the trailer. It has a welded construction for the payload of supporting the mast on the Megatower. The piston and gland are made of ductile iron for strength and durability, with a chromed, ground, and polished piston rod for resistance to wear. The u-cup seal and wiper ring in the gland are made of urethane for resistance to contaminants. This welded hydraulic cylinder has a maximum operating pressure of 2,500 pounds per square inch (psi). |
