This is a set of five beautiful coupe glasses made for champagne or swanky cocktails. They feature a bowl that has alternating shades of taupe brown. Pictures 8-9 capture the glass colors beautifully. They have a clear twisted stem and clear base.
These glasses are made of high quality lead crystal and have a nice “ting” to them when tapped.
They measure 4 7/8“ tall and 4 1/4” at the mouth.
These glasses are in excellent condition. In fact, they are like new. The Poschinger sticker is still adhered to the base of the glass.
Poschinger Glass is made in Frauenau, Germany. Poschinger is the only German glass manufacturer specialising in custom manufacturing, and is one of the oldest family-run firms in the industry. The first glass foundry bought by the family dates all the way back to 1568, and fifteen generations of sons have run the business since then!
