This is a near-mint condition, extremely beautiful item. This is a rare 2-way Boston bag from the TANGO BLACK model, which incorporates the traditional Japanese technique of Tango chirimen. The storage compartment is drum-shaped and sized to hold luggage for a 1-2 night trip. The opening has a double zipper, allowing for smooth access to your belongings. This series is made in Japan, both the fabric and the sewing. It uses the technique of "Tango chirimen," a traditional textile from the Kyotango region. This fabric was woven in Tango and processed with a special hanging refining process unique to Tango, developed over nearly two years. "Tango chirimen," a traditional textile from the Kyotango region, uses untwisted raw silk for the warp and raw silk with a strong twist of 3,000 to 4,000 times per meter for the weft, which are woven alternately. After refining, the threads contract, and the twist of the weft returns, creating the uneven texture known as "shibo" across the entire surface of the fabric, which is its most distinctive feature. The fabric alternates between chirimen weave and plain weave, and the original fabric expresses a border pattern through the weave, even though it is a single color of black.
