LIMOGES. Amazingly beautiful and fine quality. Besides being made by the Internationally renowned Limoges France it is a
beautiful vintage Limoges platter. In excellent vintage condition. Delicate pastel flowers in shades of pink, blue, a little yellow, and light pastel green but the real stand out on this platter is the lovely rich gold beaded design as seen in photos. The gold is in outstanding condition. There are some glaze bubbles and a slight dip inherent in items of this age. They are from the manufacture and not damage to the item. This platter measures approximately 13 1/4“ x 9 1/2“ and it is approximately an inch and 5/8 tall. The platter is not entirely flat it is slightly convex allowing liquid to sit at the bottom. Made in France and imported to the US for distribution by Higgins and Seiter of New York.
I am downsizing and will be liquidating many of my vintage Limoges items over the coming months. Please check back as I have a very large collection.
