The fabric is a mixed jacquard knit made of 8% mohair, 10% wool, 56% acrylic, and 26% nylon. Knitted in Yamagata Prefecture, it is brushed using teasel, a plant with spiky seed heads, to create a long pile and a warm texture.
The design is based on a vintage 1960s mohair cardigan. It's a basic cardigan type with a V-neck, front buttons, and ribbed cuffs and hem. It has two front pockets, and the buttons are made of shell. The neck, front placket, and pockets, which are areas of high stress, have a different knitting pattern to prevent stretching.
The silhouette is overall streamlined to avoid a bulky look. It's sophisticated enough to layer over a shirt, and it's also great for casually pairing with a long-sleeved T-shirt. You can also wear it casually over a tee shirt.
