Hailing from Athens, Greece, Panayiotis Tassis is a highly decorated veteran of the global house scene. With the mighty AN / NA EP, he makes his Dissident Debut. Originally releasing under the pseudonym Pete McCarthy, Panayiotis found early inspiration in the sounds of progressive heavyweights such as John Digweed, Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo and Quivver. This inspiration led him into the studio and to launch his music production career with a bang: collaborating with fellow Greek producer Kassey Voorn to win the Guy Gerber "Timing" remix contest on Cocoon records. Since then, he has gone from strength to strength, releasing on labels like Vapour, Baroque, Ugenius, Stripped and more. AN / NA is a two track EP of superb progressive vibes, showcasing the depth of his musical history yet leaning heavily into the future. Each track (AN and NA) brings forth a unique atmosphere, with sublime melodies and textures intertwining. It's a guaranteed killer for the most discerning dancefloors, an EP that we think will have a place in top DJ's sets for a long time to come.
