OSI HM270 silicone sealant is a medium modulus, one-part RTV sealant designed for window glazing and sealing. This silicone adhesive cures at room temperature upon exposure to moisture in the air. The RTV silicone provides good tensile strength and excellent adhesion. You can use this construction silicone even without a primer, to most nonporous building materials. OSI HM270 silicone easily withstands temperature extremes from -60�F to 400�F without adverse effects. This waterproof sealant is highly resistant to ultraviolet light and is virtually unaffected by other harsh environmental elements. Easy to apply, silicone sealant comes with a 4'' professional nozzle. OSI clear silicone is primarily used for structural or conventional glazing and curtainwall sealing involving glass, plastic, or metal. This sealant forms a permanent watertight and weatherproof bond to materials like concrete, marble, oily woods, limestone, brick, lead surfaces, vinyl, ceramics, aluminum, primed steel, etc. HM-270 silicone adhesive has many applications for general usage, including sealing skylights, solar panels, ventilators, aluminum siding and windows, heating/air conditioning units, ductwork, recreational vehicles, and more.
