Step into a medieval whodunit with Mystery of the Abbey! A unique deduction game where every turn brings you closer to uncovering the truth. Can you identify the culprit before it’s too late?

Mystery of the Abbey is an engaging deduction game set in a medieval abbey, where players must uncover which of the monks living in the abbey is responsible for a mysterious murder. Each participant takes on the role of a monastic investigator, using their powers of deduction and strategy to gather clues and identify the culprit.

The game comes with a deck made of 24 unique suspects and during the setup, a random one is set aside, unseen by the players: this is the culprit to find. The other cards are handed to the players, that have to explore the abbey, questioning each other to find out which monks are to be ruled out, taking notes in their secret notes sheet.

Each suspect is unique in the combination of 5 characteristics: Order, Rank, Girth, Hood and Facial hair, and knowing what to ask -and when to answer!- is the key to victory.

The flow of the game also includes events that will bustle the streamlined life in the abbey and special cards, available in the Scriptorium and Bibliotheca, that will help players in their task!
