Used on my couch for a few months. They have that looped stitch look. Lots of texture to give them a checkered look. Colors are light blue, sage green, muted red, coral orange, golden orange, mustard yellow and pink. Background is kind of a natural ivory color. The checkered design naturally has imperfections which gives its a lot of texture. The loops are not perfect- some longer than others, look like little pulls here and there. The ivory color has a natural look to it as well. It has some texture. There may be a few fuzzies from use. Overall these are fun pillows. The covers do have a zipper. The inserts kind of feel like down pillows when squished but they are not.
