Mowy military watch from the 1930’s, Mowy was a brand registered by Paul Wyler (Wyler-Vetta), the inventor of Incaflex shock absorber. Being waterproof and fitted with shock absorber this was by no means a cheap watch in the 1930’s. The watch, which is in good condition and with only normal signs of wear, have an inscription (in Finnish) on the back from March 1938 which would make it likely it was manufactured 1937 or earlier. Case 30mm (30-33mm was standard size back then) The watch runs, wounds up easy and keeps time fairly well considering it’s nearly 90 years old. Service history unknown. Recommended if you want to wear this nice vintage with history and pedigree.
