We have tested the basic functions (1) to (6) using a new SONY tape (MC-30) and two AA batteries, and confirmed that they work without any problems.
(1) Playback / Recording / Fast Forward / Rewind
(2) Tape speed switching function (2 levels)
(3) Continuous recording (continuous recording of tape side A)
(4) Continuous playback (continuous playback of tape side A)
(5) Endurance test (recording and playback confirmation once a day for 10 days)
(6) Fast forward/rewind one side at once

We performed the following work ① to ⑥.
① Replacement of the main roller rubber belt
② Head and pinch roller cleaning
③ Tape speed adjustment
④ Main rotor gear replacement
⑤ Simple disinfection cleaning of the exterior
⑥ Other maintenance

The product is used. There are scratches, scuffs, and dirt. There is a crack in the battery cover (please refer to the photos).

The sound quality is good for an analog machine.
If you are looking for higher sound quality, we recommend purchasing a digital machine (IC recorder).
