I am the second owner of this classic bag. It has always been stored in a closet, stuffed with paper to retain shape. I frequently wipe it down with Cadillac leather lotion. Is an older bag, so there is patina on the leather and hardware, which just gives a character! I did replace the original thin Crossbody strap with a custom thicker, more durable strap and matching brass hardware. It’s a great bag, but I have just shifted in life to carrying smaller bags and so I don’t use this one enough- someone needs to put it to use!
