With this album, we took recording equipment to a night club ("The Bird Lounge") in Houston, Texas where he was performing live as a club entertainer. By doing this, we captured a Lightnin' seldom heard before. The songs, stories, and feeling is spontaneous, alive and real. We head this unusual artist in his natural surroundings which give a realism of his kind of music - down-home, heartfelt blues.
