The year is 1759 and the ,'HMS Victory' is making her debut as a member of the ships of the British Royal Navy.
Another painting depicts her entering the world stage, and here in this lithograph she is shown making her final voyage in 1922 to her new home in Portsmouth, Great Britain.
The Victory was perhaps best known for being commanded by Admiral Nelson who is also pictured here.
The inscription on the bottom reads:
