This is a lovely illustrated First Edition hard backed book from 1958. Published by Phoenix House Limited, London. It contains 12 months of beautiful illustrations by famous artists. On the other side is a description of what is in the picture and a diagram. April is shown on picture 3. The text was written by Geoffrey Grigson who was a distinguished writer and naturalist of the time. The pictures are painted by S R Badmin Genuine vintage item. This book has been in my family since 1958. Kept away from light so no fading inside or out. Just a tiny bit of wear on the spine which can be seen on picture 2. Fantastic condition for its age. Would make a lovely gift for nature lovers, collectors or someone born in 1958! One of these is selling currently for over £70 online! There is no ISBN number. Copyright is to the painter and writer.
