The HYDRA X 8S is based on proven, popular and powerful Mamba Monster X 8S. Castle removed the air cooled heatsink and added a water-cooled heatsink for maximum heat dissipation. In addition, the HYDRA X 8S is equipped with an aluminum top plate that gives it a sleek and polished appearance, powerful integrated 8A peak adjustable BEC, rugged CNC aluminum case and potted in waterproof epoxy to protect the electronics and promote efficient heat transfer, auxiliary wire functionality for "on-the-fly" adjustments using your transmitter, data logging capability to capture and record performance data from your vehicle, convenient transmitter programming for six common adjustable settings including cutoff voltage and drag brake, and much more top of the line features to provide you with all the capabilities, durability and performance you've come to expect from Castle Creations!
