This Camark Vase is very pretty, excellent paint, stunning detail except for one thing. It's noticably crooked. This was a common error in the 1940's due to the process in which it was made. The vase was likely made by hand or with significant manual intervention, such as being formed on a potter's wheel or using molds that allowed for some variation. The high heat of the kiln during firing can sometimes cause clay to shift or warp slightly, leading to minor irregularities in the final shape. It adds charm and character to a beautiful piece!
