- Effective Metal Stain Prevention: BioGuard Pool Magnet Plus is a powerful chelating agent designed to wrap up any metal in your water and deposit it in your filter for removal. This can assist in preventing stains, and treating discolored (but clear) water, and should be used regularly in areas with metal in their fill water.
- Protects Against Metal & Stains: Pool Magnet Plus prevents new stains from forming and can even assist in the treatment of fresh metal stains. It also eliminates discolored water from metals.
- Reformulated & More Concentrated: This product has been recently reformulated and is now more concentrated and effective than ever. Pool experts recommend that this product be used monthly in pools that hold iron-containing fill water. It is only necessary to be used monthly because it stays effective for 3-4 weeks.
- Application: For initial dose, 1 quart (bottle) per 10,000 gallons of water. For high levels of metals present, it is receommended to use along with BioGuard Sparkle Up. For maintenance: Use 3 oz per 1,000 gallons of fill water added. Fresh Stains:1-3 quarts(bottles) depending on severity/size of stain.
