Gorgeous Antique Hand Painted Royal Rudolstadt Prussia Plate Bowl.
This antique collectible plate is fine bone china with gold gilt throughout and beautifully painted birds with flowers. The plate features a yellow rim with black trim and a central image of tropical birds. The style is described as Chinoiserie, a European interpretation of Chinese and East Asian art.
This plate dates 1905-1920. The Crown over B in the Shield Mark was used by Beyer & Bock from 1905 to 1920. BEYER & BOCK were in business in Volstedt, Germany.
There are no cracks or chips, in very good condition, see close up of photos for any wear.
This would be beautifull displayed in a cabinet or table or even to place jewelery or keepsakes. Stand not included. The plates were likely intended for use as luncheon, salad, or dessert plates.
