The 173W is based on the successful EcoPower 173 servo platform, known for its reliable digital control and compact size. It retains the durable aluminum case, which not only enhances heat dissipation but also provides excellent protection from trail debris and impact. This shared architecture ensures the same trusted performance with enhanced winching capabilities specifically tailored for micro RC use.
Upgraded All-Steel Geartrain
A standout upgrade over the original 173 servo is the 173W’s all-steel internal gears. This change dramatically increases gear strength and wear resistance, making the servo far more reliable under load — especially during demanding winching operations. EcoPower plans to roll this improvement into future 173 servos, but the 173W already includes this upgrade, ensuring enhanced durability right from the start.
Waterproof & High-Voltage Ready
