Original U.S. Army field coat produced by Alpha Industries in 1982. M-65 model in olive drab, designed for cold-dry climates. Features four front pockets, zip closure with buttoned storm flap, hidden hood inside the collar. Shoulder epaulettes, internal drawcords, and adjustable Velcro cuffs complete the utilitarian build. Original label intact with NATO code, usage instructions, and composition: 65% polyester, 35% cotton – lining 100% cotton. Size Small Regular – loose fit for layering (approx. IT 46). A technical document meant to be read, not just worn. Introduced in 1965, the M-65 became the standard U.S. military jacket during the Vietnam War and beyond. Adopted by pacifist movements and urban subcultures, it transcended its military roots to become a cultural icon. Worn by Travis Bickle in Taxi Driver (1976), by Serpico (1973), and by John Rambo in First Blood (1982), the M-65 is more than a jacket — it’s a statement. -measuraments- - Shoulder width: 49 cm - Sleeve length: 62 cm - Back length: 79 cm - Chest (pit to pit): 55 cm
