First American edition, first printing hardcover copy of A Witch’s Guide to Gardening by Dorothy Jacob (Taplinger Publishing Company, 1965). With illustrations throughout. Rare vintage book telling the history behind traditional herbal cures, potions and natural ingredients in spells and other occult uses. Also includes recipes and instructions for growth and use of a variety of plants in witchcraft rituals and spells.
Jacket now protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with some rubbing/scuffing to faces and shelf wear around the edges - including chipping, creasing and small tears. Liquid damage to bottom fore corner of back cover. Boards straight and clean save for bumped corners and liquid damage causing faint discoloration to bottom fore corner of rear board.
