Circa 1940s, Very Good condition, Metal Full Meridian band attached to globe (accurate to one degree), globe and meridian band are removable from stand, Horizon Band is printed paper over wood showing months, zodiac, and degrees (accurate to one-half degree), metal pedestal. Globe and stand 20 inches tall, diameter of horizon band 18 inches. Cartouche reads: "C.S. Hammond & Co., Inc. New York - Brooklyn 12 inch Celestial Globe Designed by Comm. Stubbs, R.N.R.
